Figthing picture! I found this idea funny! Dante versus Dante - who would win? I thnik - Dante! ^__^ Dante from Devil May Cry game, and Dante from Dante's Inferno game. SAI, 9-10 hours.
To avoid confusion, I will refer as Dante on the left as DMC Dante, and the Dante on the right as DI Dante!
First, I want to say that your perspective here is fantastic, especially on DMC Dante's body! I love how animated he seems. Your fighting scenes and perspective are noticeably improving the more you do them, so keep it up!
As far as critique goes, I'd say the shading on DMC Dante's hand in the background seems odd -- perhaps it should be a yellow/orange, like the sky? For that matter, I think perhaps the yellow/orange highlighting on him and his surroundings should be a little more intense, and it's not even on DI Dante at all. DI Dante's pose is also a lot more static than DMC Dante's; perhaps if he was swinging his scythe upwards, or jumping up to meet DMC Dante's attack, it would seem more action-packed?
I love how you painted the sky -- it's beautiful and smooth, and the details in the background and surroundings are fantastic -- nothing seems out of place or cluttered. I also love how you colored DMC Dante's abs! The dust behind them is a great touch as well.
Your action scenes are becoming better and better with each deviation; keep up the fantastic work!
I've never played "Devil May Cry" but I have finished "Dante's Inferno". (So this question might be wrong), but, despite the pistols, wouldn't the Dante on the left lose to Dante on the right, seeing as how the Dante on the right already died, and took on all nine circles of the woeful realm?
